Ministry

Ministry's been good. Yesterday the boys helped repair a roof that was leaking over one of the life centers. The girls have been sharing their testimonys, bible storys, and teaching memory verses to the kids. We all have been loving on lots and lots of little children. The jungle gym we built last year is still standing and getting lots of use.

We get to help feed the kids meals (bread, milk, and soup) It is great to be able to feed the kids but it is heart renching when the food runs out and you have to hand back a bowl empty to a little child.

I can tell coming back to South Africa and working with the same kids is really made a difference. The kids instantly remember us and are ready to learn and play and are not as shy as they were last year. We are able to share God more one on one and in depth talk about how He works in our lives. Its really encouraging to be able to walk up to a 12 year old and ask her if she knows Jesus and hear her say YES!! And listen to her share about how God answers her when she prays.

Please keep us in your prayers....

Great to hear about your work and the reception from kids who already know you. That must be really special. Greetings to all. You are in my daily prayers, several times a day. I have your names and lay them before the Lord.May His Kingdom increase. Blessings, Maureen

We are thrilled to hear what you are doing in George. We do pray for you, never fear. How wonderful that you could go back to the same place and some of the same kids! Wonderful to hear from a girl you are ministering to that she is excited about Jesus too!
